Eastbrook Middle School NEW Student Orientation

Monday, August 3, 2026

Orientation is for ALL 6th graders & NEW 7th/8th Graders and their parents/guardians.

Agenda:

8:30 - Doors Open - Enter at Door 7 - Sign In - Find a Seat in the Auditorium

9:00 - Orientation Begins - Welcome from Mr. Lunsford and Instructions for Orientation

9:15 - Students go to EMS with their teacher and student group leaders while Mr. Lunsford and Mr. Garver share important information with parents in the auditorium.

10:00 - All parents will be dismissed from the auditorium and meet their children in classrooms.

10:00 - 10:30 - Groups 1-3 will work on lockers, put supplies away, and pay fees, while groups 4-6 walk their class schedules.

10:30 - 11:00 - Groups 4-6 will work on lockers, put supplies away, and pay fees, while groups 1-3 walk their class schedules.

10:30 - 12:00 - Band Students who haven’t been fitted for a band instrument should go to the band room to get fitted.

Returning 7th and 8th Grade students and their parents/guardians.

Returning students are welcome to stop by the building on Monday, August 3rd, or Wednesday, August 5th, between 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. to pick up their schedule, put supplies in their locker, and pay student fees. To schedule a time to stop by on Tuesday, August 4th, please contact the front office prior to your arrival.

The middle school front office is open daily from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

School begins Thursday, August 6th. Doors open at 7:50 a.m. Students will report to homeroom no later than 8:05 a.m. to receive their schedules. Please contact Mr. Lunsford or the middle school front office with any questions.
